In early 2016, Scrape Gear was founded with the claim to design clothing for gravity mountain bikers, which differs from the usual designs and prefers something more discreet than the brightly colored alternatives. Behind the brand is mountain biker Fabio Schäfer, who has made mountain biking his life's work for a good 25 years and, together with his wife Liz, designs and tests all the designs himself.
