The shape of the channels creates the so-called Venturi or ground effect. The air accelerated by the channels inside the tire remains much longer between the rim bed and the tire insert and thus effectively minimizes the rebound effect - while at the same time increasing traction and shock absorption!

The “golf ball design” of the surface and the corrugated shape of the Diamana tire insert further support this effect.
