The Trailfox MIPS starts with a low-profile shape with more coverage than most XC and enduro helmets and large vents that take heat up and out when you're climbing at lower speed. When you are ready to drop-in the MIPS system offers additional protection. It can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to the rider's brain in certain oblique impacts. MIPS system
An innovative, patented, multi-directional impact protection system, the outer and inner shell can rotate in case of an impact with each other, thus absorb the force of a side impact and thus counteract the rotational force.
