From the factory, the pedal turns a little sluggish, but this is intentional. This prevents the pedal from continuing to rotate independently, should you ever take your foot off the pedal during a tight cornering maneuver!

Safety note: If not otherwise specified by the crank manufacturer. Make sure that the pedal is tightened with min. 37 to max. 42 Nm.
