Tubeless accessories

As MTB tires are concerned, tubeless tires are a very exciting topic. They consist of a high-quality tire that can be filled up with air: in this way they substitute conventional tubes and are basically tire and tube all in one.

Hereby they offer a great advantage against hard and fast rolling tires: with them you’ll get flat tires very rarely.

Tubeless tires also offer you:

  • An optimized traction
  • An optimized rolling resistance

But we must be realistic and consider their downsides too: they are much more expensive and difficult to put on. But as soon as they are installed, these tubeless tires will last almost forever. So, if you are ready to invest time and money, you won’t have to worry about your tires for a looong time.

Shop tubeless accessories: everything you need

At Maciag Offroad we offer you all the tools, spare parts and care products that you may need for installing and taking care of your tubeless tires.

All you need for mounting a tubeless tire

To mount a tubeless tire, first of all, you need these products:

  • Wheel
  • Rim tape
  • Tubeless valve
  • Tire

You can find all the spare parts and the tire at Maciag Offroad.

Tire sealant

For mounting the tubeless tire, you definitely need a tire sealant. This one will get in the tire through the valve: you should remove the head of the valve and let the sealant in through a specific filling syringe that can be installed on the valve. Spread the sealant by shaking and spinning the tire, so that the air won’t be able to come out. Now the tire can be mounted back on the bike and you’re ready to go!

Important: the tire sealant has to be let in after pumping the tire!

Also very important to know: the tire sealant has to be always refilled, so that the air won’t come out.

Need a reparation? Get yourself a tubeless repair kit

Only because tubeless tires are more resistant, it doesn’t mean that they cannot be damaged, for example because of a nail that you’ve ridden over. If this happened, you wouldn’t be riding through the neighborhood as if you had a flat tire, but you should still repair your tubeless tire asap, otherwise it will get very unstable.

On our online shop you can find tubeless repair kits with rubber and tools to plug holes quickly and easily.
