Doubledown tires are built like downhill tires: two carcass plies reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. By two 120 TPI (instead of 60TPI) carcass layers and aramid bead, but they are significantly lighter than Maxxis downhill tires, much more stable and robust than the TR + EXO tires and thus ideal for hard enduro courses.
