The Alpinestars helmet was delivered with a helmet bag, which can be used for its transport very well. With a weight of approx. 1300g (2.86lbs), it is very comfortable to wear. It is also possible to connect the helmet to a hydration system, which would eliminate the need to use a bottle or temporarily attach the drinking hose for riding longer distances and could therefore be advantageous. Another feature, which in my opinion every helmet should have, is the detachable and washable inner lining, which can be especially useful after muddy rides.

When I opened the Alpinestars package, the first thing I noticed was the jersey. For my height of 1,90m (6'3"), it was sent to me in size XL. The jersey is made of a durable polyester fabric and has a sublimated eye-catching print. My first impression of the quality and the material was very good, but even after several washes, the print held up and did not fade. When wearing it for the first time, I noticed the elastic collar and the elastic sleeve cuffs, which guarantee a very pleasant wearing comfort. Although I don't like the collar too much, it fulfils its purpose and is very comfortable to wear. While riding, I very positively noticed that the jersey doesn't easily slip out of the pants due to the extended backside. For athletes who are looking for something eye-catching and have a high technical standard, I can recommend the Alpinestars jersey.

Fade resistant sublimated graphics

Pants Racer Tactical

Due to the striking graphics on the pants as well as on the jersey, the style is a real eye-catcher! Graphics aren't the only thing that convinced me though, the pants especially their functionality really stood out. I tested them in good and bad weather conditions. The pants are very comfortable to wear due to their weight. Thanks to the elastic inserts in the waist and lower back area, they allow very good freedom of movement and the double pull straps on the right and left of the pants ensure individual size adjustment. Another positive aspect is the reinforced knee padding, which provides a cushioning effect in the event of a collision with the ground. When buying pants, it is particularly important to me that the protectors can be worn well with them. That's why Alpinestars' pants have an expansion area so that the knee protectors are easy to accommodate. What I don't really like about the pants is the inner back pocket. It's way too small and due to the net fabric and the missing zipper, it is not suitable for keys and money. The positioning on the bottom also is very impractical, as there could be a risk of injury in case of falling. I can recommend the pants of Alpinestars, because they are extremely comfortable to wear and have a great design.

Gloves Dune

I was especially excited about the gloves of Alpinestars, as I have only worn Velcro style gloves so far. The design is very simple. In addition to a few white accents, the gloves have inner surfaces finished in a greyish synthetic suede with small holes for breathability. The thumb and palm reinforcements additionally ensure a long life of the gloves. The material of the back of the hand is elastic and seamless and therefore convinces due to its wearing comfort. The slip-on cuffs allow the gloves to be put on and taken off quickly. This can be particularly advantageous in bad weather, as unlike Velcro fasteners, there are no problems when opening or closing the gloves. I also like the reinforced areas in the palms of the hands. However, if the reinforcements and the silicone prints on the fingertips were a little larger, they would provide a better grip. The gloves of Alpinestars are very well made technically as well as visually. Thanks to their simple design, they can be combined with other colors very well.

The boots were very appealing to me optically. The design is very modern and sporty and the workmanship of the individual fabrics looks very premium and robust. When first worn, the boots felt very soft and comfortable due to their inner lining. Therefore, they could prove themselves especially on cold autumn and winter days. The inner lining has a foam lining and an anti-slip suede insert on the heel to keep your foot in the right position. Because who wants a slipping boot or blisters on the feet? Nobody, I suppose! :D I really enjoyed the boots while riding. Next to very good stability and flexibility as motocross boots, they also make enduro riding possible. In addition, the boots offer excellent ankle protection and are heat and abrasion resistant on the inside of the leg. The buckle closure makes the boots easy and quick to put on and take off. The Alpinestars boots really impressed me, and as a hard enduro rider, I can also recommend them for Enduro riding.
