FRITZEL Drückeberger MX Brake Pads

@fuise_official

Safety while riding your bike is extremely important and one of the most important requirements are the brake pads. For this reason, I have tested the FRITZEL brake pads in the past four months and exposed them to all weather conditions. I didn't give warped discs, boiling brake fluid or glazed pads the chance to hide.

The brake pads are easy to mount and have a very good fit. The material of the carrier plate is made of very stable steel. The friction material of the sintered brakes is produced in a special process in which different powdery metals are compressed under heat and pressure. This gave me maximum strength while riding.

I particularly like the sintered brake pads, precisely because they grab more aggressively than organic brake pads. But like many other things, this is a matter of taste for the rider.

Especially after long enduro rides, when the hand strength drops and you get stiff fingers, a brake with more bite is much more pleasant. However, this can also be a disadvantage on long journeys and a decrease in concentration if the body's strength declines and the brake pressure point cannot be found exactly.

In my opinion, it is an individual matter of feeling. After a few trips that took a little longer, I was getting on better and better with the braking performance. Therefore, I believe that the braking performance is very good to dose and there is no quick or sudden locking of the wheels while riding.

In the four months I tested the brake pads extensively under all conditions, such as riding on sand, mud and dust. I noticed very good braking properties in all areas. The brakes have proven themselves particularly well under high temperatures and adverse weather conditions. The FRITZEL brake pads really showed me that they are extremely temperature-resistant and have a constant high coefficient of friction, no matter what the temperature, while driving. However, I noticed that the brake pads wear out faster in wet sand and mud conditions.

Conclusion

The FRITZEL brake pads take a little longer to break in until they bite to a maximum, but they have very good grip and a long service life. Particularly ideal for riders who prefer more bite with less hand force. Due to the grip of the sintered pads, the brake discs wear a little more, but offer performance at the highest level.
