K1 - a metallic ceramic material which is produced by the progressive powder coating technology. This material is leading on the market in the range of sinter technologies.

• Good heat resistance up to 450°C, temporarily up to 750 °C
• Nearly three times longer lifetime in comparison to other organic pads

Application:

• For offroad motorcycles, in extreme terrain conditions like e.g. sand
• In warm weater conditions an exchange to K5 material is recommended
• With self-cleaning effect in muddy ride conditions
• Suitable for rear brake pads

Note: We recommend, not to use this material for front brakes for on-road and off-road motorcycles.
