This technology brings stability and flexibility and thus prevents the foot from overstretching during back and forward movement and from twisting. With the new Dual-Sole-System the GX1 is the first boot with a double-sewn sole on the inside and the durable Gaerne MX-Offroad-Light World sole on the outside. The concept with the 4 interchangeable aluminium buckles ensures an easy, fast and precise closure. The calf width can be adjusted by moving the upper two buckles, so there is also room for a knee orthosis.

Technical explanation:
The dual-tech ankle joint system has two stable pivot points that are completely integrated into the design on the inside and outside of the ankle. This gives the rider a natural feeling of movement in a shifting or braking situation and prevents unwanted compressions during a jump or landing. The breathable, antibacterial and pre-formed microfibre inner lining provides an optimal wearing comfort at all times.

The thermoplastic shin guard is anatomically shaped to ensure a perfect fit. By moving the upper buckles you can adjust the desired calf width and thus also optimally place a knee orthosis.
