A selected solvent formulation that is particularly suitable for removing sticky and resinous residues from carburettors, injection systems and automatic starters, improving starting performance and engine performance.

The engine is started with the air filter removed and with the throttle lever quarter to half open, the product is sprayed into the air intake until the engine begins to die. This removes residues and deposits from the entire intake system. The air filter can then be refitted. 

Silkolene CARB CLEANER is also suitable for cleaning gas rods and carburettor housings.
