Braking presents the evolution of their top-range Incas braking system with the introduction of version 2.0. Always Made in Italy, always designed for E-Bike - DH - Enduro - Cross Country, but with several new features.

Details:

  • Completely renewed materials and processes: master cylinder and caliper machined from billet and CNC machined with high quality finishing
  • Aramid braided hose: hose diameter reduced to 5 mm to allow a better internal passage and weight saving, maintaining the optimal braking power that characterizes the Incas system
  • New pads with a wider braking surface, to allow a better grip between disc and pad, with a greater heat dissipation
  • Caliper’s stiffness and braking power increased
  • Caliper’s aesthetics completely renewed
  • Brake’s hose passages and pads replacement operations optimized 
  • Pump diameter: 9 mm
  • Simple replacement of the cartridges containing the pumping elements to quickly change the configuration and the operating pressures of the system
  • Giving the same force on the lever, INCAS can guarantee a higher operating pressure compared to a normal braking system
  • The higher pressure inside the system allows it to have a greater stopping force, and a modular braking with a millimetric movement of the lever
Master Cylinder:
The Master cylinder has been developed to separate the mechanical function from the hydraulic, keeping them independent from each other.
Hydraulic function: A
n innovative system of interchangeable hydraulic cylinder cartridges containing different-sized pistons. The different diameters available allow the user to vary the amount of brake fluid moved by the piston and/or the speed/pressure at which the fluid is moved.
Mechanical function: T
he lever can be adjusted regardless of the piston position, to get the ergonomics perfectly tailored to each rider. The piston position can be adjusted to reduce the lever stroke
Main body: 
Aluminium body is machined from billet and CNC machined with high quality finishing.

Caliper:
Caliper machined from billet and CNC machined in order to obtain a higher level of surface and structural strength, with the purpose of functioning at higher working pressures. The diameter of the caliper pistons are 26 mm, in order to have an effective and powerful brake, maintaining an optimal feeling and control for the rider. The external shape of the caliper is optimized in order to maximize the heat exchange surface of the body and the structural resistance, so as to properly sustain all the possible thermal and mechanical stresses. Both caliper and pistons are made of high strength aluminum alloy to reduce weight. The pistons are subjected to hard anodizing in order to increase the resistance and reduce the wear, extending the product overall life. The pistons are moving on 4x4 mm square o-rings derived from motorbike concept.
