Bel Ray brake fluid DOT exceeds the specifications of FMVSS Sec. 571.116 DOT 5 for brake fluids based on silicone. This brake fluid can be mixed with all fluids that meet these specifications. It is ideally suited for all hydraulic drum or disk brakes, except for systems with mineral brake fluids (LHM).
