Ariete fork oil seal rings were specially designed for motorcycle forks - for sealing the fork tube during reciprocating action. Also in choice of material Ariete is different from other suppliers. Usually, manufacturers use nitrile rubber, known as NBR. Ariete instead uses the unique material carboxylated elastomer known as XNBR. This compound offers excellent abrasion and heat resistance, as well as resistance towards oil and its additives.
