As the four-time motocross world champion Torsten Hallman from Sweden came to the US in 1966, he wanted to establish the motocross sport here. He succeeded and the sport has become increasingly popular. After his racing career, he founded his own motocross apparel company in 1968 called THOR (Torsten Hallman Original Racewear) and laid the foundation for success that lasts decades. Thor grew into one of the leading offroad apparel companies and Hallman was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in the year 2000.
Thor is known for producing high-quality racing gear and the only brand with over 40 years of experience in the market. Quality, strength and power signalize that. With known drivers like Ryan Villopoto, Blake Baggett and Brett Metcalfe on board, Thor still strives after the top.
Jerseys, rider pants, gloves, MX goggles, helmets and boots are an integral part of the range for motocross and mountainbiking. The range for leisure clothing, such as shirts, hoodies, jackets, backpacks, however, must not hide behind it.
